FORGIVING: IS IT SO HARD...??

From this picture, what can you tell me...??

Of course everyone will say a woman in fear of getting smack by a man and this make her into a bondage of her own fear and also leads to violence...How do this happen...??

1) Parents: Some of the parents think that violence is the way to discipline children. But in the Bible says this:

''He who spare the rod hate his son: but he that love him correct him betimes'' (Proverbs 13:24)

So, we have our own ways to discipline the child but not too much of so-called smacking children and also to show the love to your child as God loves them...

2) Environment: Somehow gangsters, mafias, satanic groups, black magics, music and fighting shows can change that person in just a second but the Bible tell us this:

''But I tell you who hears me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you'' (Luke 6:27-28)

3) Friends: They can mislead you into another way and the danger is there...the Bible speaks about it:

''Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible, but not everything is constructive'' (1 Corinthians 10:23)

So, think again of what are you doing...ONE MUST BE A CHRISTIAN TO BE SAVED...

''Jesus answered: I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'' (John 14:6)

VIOLENCE IS NOT OUR CULTURE...the only way is to forgive and to teach them the right way, not to smack them...!! What if people treat you that way...??

So think again...WE ARE GOD'S CHILDREN...

That's all for now...

God bless,

ANIMISTIC PRACTICES OF IBAN (BEFORE CHRISTIANITY WAS SPREAD OUT IN SARAWAK)...

Last night, during dinner, my dad shared with us about stuffs like Iban cultures (don't know how this topic came out) but I found out the things that make the Iban strong...WANT TO KNOW HOW...??

1) ''Pasak bumi'': practice of materials (that is been offer to the Gods) of the ground...materials are to be planted outside of the house and curse are to be put at the enemies' house...once that enemy step out with the intention to do something bad on you, in just a second the enemy will die...

2) ''Ilmu kebal'': practice of a martial art that is called ''Pencak Iban''...have to go out to the jungle to communicate with the Gods for power...

3) Waterfall curse: practice of taking care of your materials outside of the house...house of the Gods are to be created and sacrificial offering are to be given to the Gods...those who try to take away the materials will die...

There are many kind of animistic practices that is practiced by the Ibans and also the other Dayaks for their own safety but we can only break the curse in the name of JESUS CHRIST...

Here's the prayer: I, (your name) break the curse of (any kind of practices) in the name of JESUS CHRIST, MY SAVIOR AND MY LORD...

That's all for now...ONE MUST BE A CHRISTIAN TO BE SAVED...!!

God bless,

divisions and prayer...

After the church burnings tragedy...many people can feel that this is a wake up call for them to pray and to seek God...some of them feels angry but didn't do much...some of them forgiving and pray...but there's some of them being ''denomination-minded'' making this kind of statement ''I'm a Protestant, you're a Catholic, I cannot help you''

This cause to divisions among us...

Paul warned us about it in 1 Corinthians 1: 10-17:-

10I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. 11My brothers, some from Chloe's household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. 12What I mean is this: One of you says, "I follow Paul"; another, "I follow Apollos"; another, "I follow Cephas"; still another, "I follow Christ." 13Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul? 14I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15so no one can say that you were baptized into my name. 16(Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don't remember if I baptized anyone else.) 17For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

Divisions did not lead people to UNITY but it leads to a men's wisdom...even in this situation, still people want to take this for granted...I have 3 questions:-

1. Who create you...??
2. Who you're worshiping...??
3. Which scripture you're following...??

Think again...now we are in a situation...wake up...!! PRAY FOR YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS...DON'T CARE WHO THEY ARE, CATHOLICS OR PROTESTANTS...THEY'RE STILL CHRISTIANS...

That's all...

God bless,
Ezra

TO MY FELLOW BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST...

Many things happen in our country, Malaysia...

1st: 15, 000 Bibles (Malay & Indonesian translation) got seized by authorities at Sarawak and Catholic weekly magazine Herald got accused also by authorities due to the word ''Allah'' but the High Court allow it to be use...

2nd: UMNO & ABIM protest on High Court's decision for allow it to be use and claim that the word is exclusive to Islam...

3rd: 4 churches got bombed by fanatics, 1 of the church is just nearby my area...

4th: Rumors claim that fanatics will go around and smashing cars with Christian articles but police denied it...

5th: Police manage to stop a group of fanatics from doing a riot...

Well...that's the latest news so far...what can I say is that the word ''Allah'' had been use by Christians and Jews before Islam was founded...some more in Quran says this:-

''And who believe in (the Qur'ân and the Sunnah) [] which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) and in [the Taurât (Torah) and the Injil (Gospel), etc.] which were sent down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell)''  (Al-Baqarah 2:4)

If they believe in the Gospel, they should know that Christians worship Allah...and another verse in Quran says this:-

''those who have been driven from their homelands against all right for no other reason than their saying. “Our Sustainer is God!” For, if God had not enabled people to defend themselves against one another, all] monasteries and churches and synagogues and mosques - in [all of] which Gods name is abundantly extolled - would surely have been destroyed [here now]. And God will most certainly succour him who succours His cause: for, verily, God is most powerful, almighty'' (Asad 22:40)

But we as a Christian, we should love our enemy and pray for them...for the Bible says:-

''But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you'' (Matthew 5:44)

If they're against us, we forgive them...

"I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also." (Matthew 5:39)'

Even the Bible tell us to stand firm...

''And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But the one who endures to the end will be saved'' (Mark 13:13)

So...the only thing we can do is to UNITE and PRAY...no more fooling around...God is calling us to be in His way...

Would you accept the call...??

God bless,
Ezra
